WELCOME TO THE GOOD GUYS ONLINE STORE!
We would like to familiarise you with the T&Cs for the online store owned by Good Guys Oy. (VAT 2887471-1). These terms and conditions are applicable for all online orders placed after 5.3.2021.
By placing an order you agree to the terms and conditions identified below.
The T&Cs may be updated on the website at any time. Please read through the terms prior placing an order.
ORDERING FROM THE GOOD GUYS ONLINE STORE
Opening times: The online store is open 24/7. The website may occasionally be temporarily unavailable when website maintenance is being carried out.
Age requirements: In order to place an order, the customer must be 18 years of age or older.
Personal details: The customer must provide a name, address, phone number and an email address to place an order. If the details provided prove to be incorrect, Good Guys Oy. has the right to cancel the order and are not responsible for any delivery errors that occur as a result.
Registration: It is possible to place an order without creating a personal account to the website.
Amending orders after confirmation: It is possible to make changes to the order before it is being processed by the company. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for any amendments.
Order confirmation: You will receive a confirmation via email after placing the order. If you do not receive this, please check your spam folder before contacting Good Guys Oy to resolve the issue.
Pricing: Prices include VAT / ALV (value added tax). Please note that possible taxes and duties may apply in your home country. You are responsible for any such taxes and duties.The amount of VAT / ALV is shown in the shopping cart. In the case of incorrect pricing or a technical error on the website, Good Guys Oy. have the right to cancel the order.
Product images: Images shown of the products on the website are for representation. They may differ from the actual product, including, but not limited to, the colour and other features.
Marketing: We may send you marketing material related to your order. You can opt out from these emails at any time via the link at the bottom of the email.
Validity of the T&Cs: The terms and conditions mentioned in this page will become effective immediately upon placing your order.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Destinations for shipping: We offer shipping to most countries within the EU.
Order processing times: All processing times are estimates. For products that are available within our warehouse, orders will normally be processed within 3 working days.
Shipping times: Any noted shipping times are estimates.
Delivery charges: Charges for delivery are determined by the weight and size of the package as well as the shipping location and the delivery method chosen. The price for delivery is calculated at checkout. We offer free delivery to purchases exceeding 100€ within Finland.
Delivery methods: In Finland, your package will be sent to a Posti or DB Schenker pickup location. Methods of delivery abroad will depend on the local operators.
Pick up time window: With Finnish orders, the packages are stored for 7 days at the Posti and DB Schenker pickup location. Please note, the pickup window may differ according to each country.
Local pickup: You may also choose to pick up your order directly from the brewery at Vaittintie 9, 33960 Pirkkala, Finland. This is available Mon-Fri 08.30-16.30. Please contact The Good Guys Oy prior to arrival to arrange a suitable time. To arrange a suitable time for collection, please contact us on hello@thegoodguys or by phoning 040 1989 691.
Statutory right to cancel:You have the right to cancel your order with us within 14 days without giving any reasons. The cancellation period will expire 14 days after you, or a third party on your behalf, receives delivery of the last item in your order.
Restrictions on statutory right to cancel: The right of cancellation expires prematurely for contracts subject to food and beverage items or sealed goods which have been unsealed after delivery and which are not suitable for return due to hygienic reasons. All returned items must be returned in their original condition, intact and undamaged, and in its original packaging. Until the period for exercising the statutory right to cancel expires, the statutory provisions governing returns shall apply exclusively. If the item returned is not in its original condition, we will deduct the amount that the value has dropped from the amount that is returned to the customer. If the item is not in a resellable condition, the deducted amount is the whole value paid by the customer.
Inspecting the product you received: You have the right to inspect the goods received as you would inspect them at a moment of purchase in a physical shop. The package must be opened carefully to secure the original condition of the goods. Do not dispose of the original package or any items included in the package until you have made the final decision to purchase the product.
Cost of returning items: The customer is responsible for costs incurred directly due to returns. Cost for returning items is 10€.
Consequences of revocation: If you cancel the contract contract under the statutory right to cancel, we shall reimburse to you all payments we received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. If you paid by Paypal/credit card, the refund will be sent to your Paypal/credit card account. If you used a gift voucher for your purchase, we will credit the relevant amount to your gift voucher account. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You must return the items you no longer want to us without undue delay, and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you told us you were cancelling the contract.
Notifying about a damaged package: If the package is delivered to you in a poor condition or broken, please notify the company that dealt with your delivery as soon as possible.
In case of a defective product: If you receive a faulty product, please get in touch with our customer services at email@example.com without undue delay. We withhold the right to reimburse the value of the faulty item or we can agree to cover reasonable costs of fixing the faulty item. You are not responsible for the costs incurred by fixing the item. This covers only faults that have been present at the moment of sale, any faults or defects caused by normal wear and tear are not covered.
Force majeure: Good Guys Co. is not liable for any damage caused by force majeure.

To meet the cancellation deadline, you must send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. Please follow the instructions when returning a product. Pack the item securely, preferably by using the original packaging material. Remove the original packing sticker from the box. You have 14 days to return the item from announcing your wish to use the statutory right to cancel. The delivery address for returned packages is Good Guys Oy. , Vaittintie 9, 33960 Pirkkala. You can drop off the items directly to the brewery or send them to us. However, we do not accept returns with cash on delivery parcels.Please note that simply not picking up your parcel does not count as an adequate way of cancelling your order. In such a case, you will be refunded the value of purchase. You are however responsible for charges up to 10€ occurred due to the returning of the package to the brewery. Packages that are not picked up within the 7 day period from the pick up location are automatically returned to the brewery.
Laws applicable to dispute resolution: Any dispute arising will be handled within the means of the Finnish law. We abide by the Finnish and European Union consumer protection laws.
In case of a defective product: If you receive a faulty product, please get in touch with our customer services at firstname.lastname@example.org without undue delay. We will do our best to find a solution that satisfies your needs.
Consumer advice: Should you be disappointed in the solution we offer you in a dispute, you can turn to the Consumer Advisory Services at https://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-advice/.
Consumer Disputes Board: You have the right to take up any issues regarding the T&C’s stated on this website with the free service provided by the Consumer Disputes Board. The cost of any voluntary extra services you wish to receive from them will be left for you to pay for.
ODR-forum: You can also use the services of the Online Dispute Resolution forum provided by the European Union. This may be useful for anyone who lives in a different EU country to Finland. The link to the website: https://ec.europa.eu/odr . Please use our email email@example.com as reference.
Place of jurisdiction: As a consumer you have the right to bring any disputes to the district court to be disputed. If more suitable, we can use the district court local to our company. If your home municipality is not in Finland, the local court of the company will deal with the dispute.
PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER
The payment service provider is Checkout Finland which is an establishment that has been approved by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. Checkout Finland Co. (tax code 2196606-6) is a part of the OP Financial Group.
Checkout transfers your payment to the seller. The transaction will appear as Checkout Finland Oy on your credit card statement after the payment has been approved.
Direct bank payments: All Finnish banks with online banking can be used to pay on our website. The transaction will appear on your bank statement as Checkout Finland Oy. You will be automatically directed to approve the purchase from your online banking safely and securely.
Credit Card payments: The credit cards accepted on the online store are Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express. The online store also supports the international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey features. The transaction will appear on the credit card statement as Checkout Finland Oy, they will transfer the value to Good Guys Oy. Paying with a credit card is safe and your card details won’t be saved onto your details at the online store.
Mobile payment: Pivo, MobilePay, Masterpass and Siirto applications are accepted as a method of payment in the Good Guys online store.
